Rick is a high energy, resourceful, and very focused individual who very much enjoys working with organizations to drive positive change in practical and realistic ways. As someone who has the “real world experiences of working in the private sector for over three decades, he brings a wealth of experience and practical approaches to addressing human capital challenges.

Rick has multiple credentials, including regionally accredited graduate degrees in adult education, human resources, and project management. He has an MS from Carnegie Mellon University in Technology Management, with an emphasis on learning sciences. He holds a doctoral (Ed.D.) degree in Vocational, Technical, and Occupational Education from Nova Southeastern University. Rick is a graduate of the Columbia University Senior Executive Program (CSEP) and also is a Stanford Certified Project Manager (SCPM).

Rick has an extensive background in corporate training and workforce development and has designed, developed, and facilitated highly interactive courses and workshops for over 25 years. The types of programs he has developed include leadership development, business acumen, change management, project and program management, foundational supervisory skills, effective communications, diversity and inclusion, strategic planning, risk and opportunity management, and building high-performance teams.

Rick is an invited speaker at industry conferences, on topics including creating comprehensive workforce development strategies, strategic workforce planning practices that support innovation and growth, systemic risk management for the safeguarding of human capital, and building a strong partnership and vocational education.
